Tuesday September 12 6-7pm 
Meet and Greet Cimarron Corpe, Geographer and Multi Media Artist, at the the third in a series of 3 of the 2017 Crystal Creek Citizen Artist residency. Karst Driftless Guidepost, 111 Cedar St., Houston, MN. FREE and open to the public  !

Saturday September 16 1-4pm  Meet at Giants of the Earth, 163 West Main, Spring Grove, MN  for the Community Workshop with Crystal Creek Citizen Artist Cimarron Corpe ! . The workshop will begin with a brief history and overview of field recording before taking the group on a "soundwalk" to the Norwegian Ridge Birding Trail, just outside of town. Bring a recording device (smartphone, tape recorder) to participate. Afterwards, the group will meet back at Giants of the Earth to share their recordings. Both events are free and open to the public; pre-registration is required for the workshop. HARC Board Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month, 7:00 pm at  the Houston Nature Center, 215 W. Plum Street.  All are welcome! 

Looking for ways to become active in the arts in Houston and area?  Message us, and we can make it happen!  We are always seeking volunteers to teach workshops, serve on the board, and help with special events.
